We stopped at the café for breakfast, amazing food, good coffee, excellent service, cosy and quiet place, this place has something special. A shout out to the girl from the Philippines who looked after us wonderfully. When we visit Lake Wivenhoe, we will definitely come back for breakfast here.

The coffee is great- we get almond milk which at most cafes taste horrible. But not here there milk taste really good. We got some of there deserts and the were brilliant-not to sweat not flavourless -so good. The pistachio and raspberry pastry and the pair Danish are to die for. The service is absolutely fantastic % the staff are friendly and quick and well mannered.

We recently visited Holmes Cafe in Brassall and had an amazing experience! The coffee was absolutely spot on – rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. We tried the stuffed croissants and the breakfast burger, and both were fantastic! The croissants were indulgently filled, and the breakfast burger was hearty and full of flavor. The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. Holmes Cafe is definitely a hidden gem in Brassall – we’ll be back for sure!

The food is fresh and super tasty. The ladies at the counter are polite and patient. The cafe gives off an organic yet artsy feel. With local art displayed and soft funky music playing in the background. The street side cafe has ample parking. Cars and trucks loudly passing outside is a drawback to the overall vibe however, the indoor seating makes up for it. Highly recommend the food and coffee.
